I think that was a---compliment???

So....I'm at work the other day and one of the ladies was walking past me. She and I have worked together for the last several months. As I'm walking towards her, she complimented me on how nice I looked with makeup on.

Of course, I was pleasantly surprised by this compliment and I thanked her for it. By this point, we had passed each other and over my shoulder I hear, "You're like me, we only wear makeup when we feel like it."

I started laughing and then I stopped dead in my tracks. I thought to myself, "Hey wait a minute, I'm always wearing makeup."

Delayed response, not cool.
